That's why, back in 1972, a group of 10 Upstate homebuilders—ever in search of a better source for lumber, roofing, millwork and more—decided to construct a company of their own. Who better to run a supply business, they reasoned, than the very folks who purchase said supplies? And thus, under the leadership of R. Buford Landers, began Greenville Builders Supply.
